Dr. Couch grew up near Manchester, Kentucky and graduated from Clay County High School in 1992. In 2002, he graduated from the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry with a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree.
Following dental school, Dr. Couch returned to Corbin and entered private practice as an associate dentist. In 2007, he created

Following dental school, Dr. Couch returned to Corbin and entered private practice as an associate dentist. In 2007, he created Couch Dental, aka L. Douglas Couch, DMD, PLLC. Dr. Couch is a member of the American Dental Association, Kentucky Dental Association and Southeastern Kentucky Dental Society. He is also a past president of the Southeastern Kentucky Dental Society.

Linda began her dental career in 2002 as a dental assistant in the practice of Dr. Robert L. Ballou, DMD, PSC. In that practice, she was cross trained as receptionist and billing manager. In 2007, Linda joined Couch Dental as office manager.

Logan Smith, Chairside Assistant
Jennifer joined our team in 2014 and is a registered dental hygienist (RDH), licensed to practice in the state of Kentucky.
She received her degree from the Kentucky Community and Technical College System.
She is also certified in local anesthesia administration, nitrous oxide analgesia and dental assisting expanded duties.
Jennifer and her husband, Jason, are parents to Hannah & Mason.

Logan Smith, Chairside Assistant
Logan joined Couch Dental in 2016 as support staff. Since that time, Logan's job duties have evolved to chairside dental assistant. He is certified in dental radiography technique.
Recently, Logan received a commercial pilot license and plans to pursue further training in aviation.

McKenzie joined our practice in 2022. She is a graduate of ChoiceMD dental assisting program and entered the field of dentistry in 2020.
McKenzie is certified in dental radiography technique, as well as selective coronal polishing.

Sarah joined Couch Dental in December 2022. She is currently pursuing a degree in education at the University of the Cumberlands.
